Working on the trading floor of one of Australia’s key banks the critical nature of the global commodities markets is a clear and tangible presence. Knowledge was gained quickly as the banks clients are constantly engaged, commodity risks managed and commercial fluency is acquired. This led to years of experience gained in the cutting-edge commodities markets of London and New York. Here the foundations of ZKR are built an extensive international network, commercial knowledge gained, insight across the global commodities sector acquired and relationships forged with key decision makers. This was the genesis of ZKR built upon a core belief in the relentless pursuit of excellence and solution delivery.

Having established ZKR in 2023 we undertake our first client mandates and achieve a number of firsts. We successfully deliver a coal capital and offtake solution, negotiate a strategic joint venture agreement, perform a comprehensive corporate restructuring and undertake a major coal company refinancing. All significant moments for ZKR but most importantly critical achievements for ZKR’s clients.

With a number of mandates successfully executed and ZKR’s reach within the global commodities markets continuing to expand and evolve we look to further opportunities to engage with the market to create value. From working with Sovereign Wealth Funds to support their global presence within the commodities markets, to building on our already extensive client network, ZKR continues to seek new frontiers where we can deliver our unique service offering and relentlessly pursue our clients ambitions.
